Cold Brew Coffee made Fresh

The difference between cold brew and iced coffee

Iced coffee is brewed hot like regular coffee and then cooled down, cold brew is made by steeping ground beans in cold water. This results in both a longer brew time and a smoother taste.

What is cold brew coffee?

Cold brew coffee is made by slowly steeping coarsely ground coffee in cold or room temperature water for at least 12-24 hours. Unlike iced coffee, the coffee is never heated, giving it a much longer extraction time. The longer brew time gives cold brew a smoother, milder taste and a lower acid content than coffee brewed with hot water — meaning it's easier on sensitive stomachs. And because cold brew requires a higher ratio of beans to water, it often contains more caffeine than regular java.

Cold brew pros

Smoother taste. The cold brewing process results in a milder taste and tends to have fewer bitter notes than iced coffee.

Easier on the stomach. Cold brew coffee contains significantly less acid than hot-brewed coffee, making it an especially good option for those with sensitive stomachs or frequent heartburn.

Higher caffeine content. Cold brew tends to contain more caffeine than iced coffee — so if you're looking for a big boost of energy, cold brew might be your best bet.

Higher Profits.  Most consumers prefer Fresh Cold brewed coffee & are willing to pay more for it.
